Welcome to Cabin Companions! By using our website or booking our pet transportation services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms of Service are intended to protect both you and our team and to ensure that every animal travels with care and safety.

1. Overview of Services

Cabin Companions (a DBA of Feline Frontiers LLC) provides personalized pet transport services by air and ground across the U.S. and internationally. Our team includes trained flight nannies who accompany animals in-cabin, as well as ground transport professionals for road trips.

2. Booking and Payment

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your pet’s travel date.
• The remaining balance is due upon pickup or delivery.
• Accepted payment methods include Cash, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or credit card.
• Travel dates are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

3. Pet Requirements

To ensure a safe and smooth journey, the following conditions must be met:

• Pets must be at least 8 weeks old.
• All pets must be free of fleas and ticks.
• Required vaccinations must be current (DHPP for dogs, FVRCP for cats, and Rabies for all pets over 16 weeks).
• A valid health certificate issued within 10 days (domestic) or 48 hours (international) is required.
• Pets traveling by air must weigh under 20 lbs and fit in an 18″x12″x12″ carrier.
• Animals must be non-aggressive and not require a muzzle or restraint.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal of service without a refund.

4. Delays, Cancellations & Force Majeure

While we work hard to keep things on schedule, we are not responsible for:

• Airline delays or cancellations
• Traffic or mechanical issues
• Weather-related disruptions
• Acts of God, civil unrest, or emergencies

In such cases, we will attempt to rebook or reschedule transport. Any additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

5. Veterinary Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency:

• We will attempt to contact the owner immediately.
• If unreachable, we are authorized to seek care from the nearest licensed veterinarian.
• The owner agrees to reimburse all costs incurred, up to $1,500, before delivery is completed.

6. Media Use

We often share photos and videos from our travels to promote our services. By booking with us, you grant permission for us to use media of your pet unless you opt out in writing.

7. Additional Fees

Additional charges may apply for:

• Owner Delays at pickup/drop-off locations (after the first 30 minutes: $50/hr)
• Changes to travel dates or locations
• Pet-related damage to equipment or vehicles

8. Liability Disclaimer

While we treat your pets like family, Cabin Companions is not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or loss of life unless due to gross negligence
• Costs incurred from emergencies, travel changes, or third-party delays

Owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cabin Companions, its agents, and employees from any claims arising during transport, including damage or injury caused by their pet.

9. Disputes & Governing Law

All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and must first be submitted to mediation within the state before legal proceedings may begin.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to our website. Continued use of our site or services constitutes your acceptance of any changes
