Cabin Companions is not a shipping broker or flight-nanny marketplace. Your journey is personally planned and managed by our small team of experienced animal-welfare professionals, with a named Cabin Companion accountable from pickup through reunion. We build the route around your pet, provide direct communication and updates throughout, and clearly explain any partner or handoff a journey genuinely requires.
Do you ship pets in airline cargo?
Cabin Companions is not a commercial pet-shipping company. However, when in-cabin travel isn’t possible, we may accompany a pet traveling as checked baggage or excess baggage on the same flight. Our professional remains with your pet through airport check-in, flies on the same aircraft, and personally retrieves them upon arrival—avoiding the remote handoffs typical of traditional cargo shipping.
Will the same person stay with my pet?
Yes. Your pet is cared for by a named member of our small team from pickup through reunion—never handed to gig workers, marketplace contractors, or a chain of unknown transporters.
How much does personally escorted pet travel cost?
Single-pet domestic in-cabin journeys typically begin at $2,995. International, ground, urgent, multi-pet, and medically or logistically complex journeys are individually planned and quoted after we understand the route and your pet’s needs.
