Cabin Companions is a trade name of Feline Frontiers LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“Cabin Companions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide pet-travel planning, personally escorted in-cabin travel, owner-accompanied travel support, and private ground transportation.

This policy applies to information we collect through our website, inquiry and referral forms, consultations, emails, telephone calls, text messages, social-media interactions, and in connection with services we provide. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, city, and state.
• Travel and household information, such as origin and destination addresses, travel dates, itinerary details, household members traveling, and emergency contacts.
• Pet and veterinary information, such as your pet's name, species, breed, age, weight, behavior, medications, vaccination status, microchip information, health certificates, veterinary records, and travel needs.
• Transaction information, such as requested services, estimates, contracts, invoices, and payment status. Payment-card details are generally processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored directly by us.
• Communications and media, including messages, call notes, testimonials, reviews, photos, and videos you choose to provide.
• Referral and professional-partner information, such as your employer, role, referred client, and the circumstances of an introduction.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, dates and times, device identifiers, and interactions with forms or page elements. • People you direct or authorize, including family members, caregivers, employers, relocation professionals, and emergency contacts.
• Legal and safety recipients, when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, regulation, safety, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.
• Business-transfer recipients, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process. You may also lodge a complaint with the privacy or data-protection authority where you live.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Transactional and service communications may continue when necessary to answer a request or provide services.

7. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining travel and business records, meeting tax, insurance, regulatory, and legal requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by the type and sensitivity of information and the reason it was collected.

Please do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email or text message.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian may provide limited information about a child when it is reasonably necessary for family travel planning. If you believe a child has provided information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us.

Cabin Companions is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers or travel participants operate.
