No shared transport
The route belongs to your pet
Stops, timing, temperature and daily mileage are planned for your animal instead of a van full of unrelated passengers.
Private pet ground transportation
One or more dedicated Cabin Companions drive your pet from pickup through reunion in a private vehicle planned around their safety, comfort and routine.
No shared vans. No relay drivers. No unexplained handoffs.

A different kind of pet transport
Traditional ground transport may combine unrelated animals, rotate drivers and stretch routes around multiple pickups. Cabin Companions carries one family at a time with one professional personally accountable throughout.

Who this service is for
Private ground travel gives large or breed-restricted dogs, multi-pet families, and medically or emotionally complex pets a personally managed alternative.
SIZE OR BREED RESTRICTIONS
Some dogs cannot fly because of their size, breed, or airline restrictions—including flat-faced (brachycephalic) dogs that many airlines will not accept. Private ground transport gives them a safe, personally managed alternative without commercial cargo or shared transport.
Senior or anxious pets
We plan rest, medication, meals and handling around the pet’s physical and emotional needs.
Multiple pets
Cats and dogs from the same family can remain together without sharing space with unfamiliar animals.
Door-to-door moves
We pick up and reunite at homes, hotels, veterinary offices, rescues or another agreed location.
Best suited to journeys within the continental United States and Canada when routing permits.

Common questions
Clear answers about vehicles, routes, overnight care and continuous responsibility.
No. Every journey is reserved for one family at a time. Pets from the same household may travel together, but we never combine pets from unrelated families or plan your route around other pickups.
Yes. One Cabin Companion remains personally accountable from pickup through reunion. We do not use relay drivers, depots, kennels or overnight handoffs.
We plan realistic daily mileage and pet-friendly hotel stays. Your pet remains with their Cabin Companion overnight—in the hotel, never in a boarding facility—so they can stay close to the person they’ve come to know and feel safe and comforted. We’ll discuss the sleeping and handling arrangements with you before travel.
Stops are planned around the pet’s age, species, routine and medical needs rather than a fixed fleet schedule. Dogs receive appropriate relief and exercise breaks. Cats are handled conservatively to prevent escape and are given food, water, litter and comfort checks safely.
Yes, when the medication and instructions are appropriate for travel. We follow the written care plan, document doses and have 24/7 veterinary access if concerns arise.
You receive proactive photo and text updates, direct contact with the Cabin Companion and AirTag location access when available. We also communicate major milestones and any meaningful change immediately.
We select a clean, climate-controlled vehicle appropriate for the pet, route and required equipment. Depending on the pet, safe travel may include a suitable carrier, crate or vehicle restraint.
