After we helped her sister Dianne bring Hammond and Tommy home to Bangkok, Paula contacted us about completing the same move for her own cats, Tiger and Emily. The route was familiar, but every pet journey is personal—and these two brought entirely different personalities to the trip.
We returned to Rochester, where Paula’s parents once again met us at the airport. We flew the cats to JFK, spent a quiet night together in a pet-friendly hotel, and then began the long international journey on Turkish Airlines.
Grilled Chicken, Churu, and New Friends
Turkish Airlines proved exceptionally welcoming along the way. The crew could not have been kinder, even bringing grilled chicken and bowls of water for Tiger and Emily. Tiger charmed the flight attendants, while Emily was happiest during her Churu breaks at the airport.
Those small moments matter on a long itinerary. Familiar treats, attentive hydration, and calm companionship helped both cats settle into the rhythm of travel while keeping them safely with us in the cabin.
Another Bangkok Reunion
After arriving in Bangkok, we guided Tiger and Emily through the customs process and met Dianne on the other side. She was collecting the cats for her sister while Paula settled into the family’s new home.
Both cats did wonderfully. From the parents who entrusted them to us in Rochester to the family waiting in Thailand, everyone could not have been warmer or more devoted. Tiger and Emily are extraordinarily lucky cats to be loved by such a wonderful family.
