When the Eisner sisters prepared to move across the country, their two Dalmatians needed a travel plan built around them. Denver—the uncle—and Walker—his nephew—both required medication management and carefully maintained feeding routines. Their family wanted more than transportation; they wanted to know the boys would be known, watched, and genuinely cared for throughout the 2,500-mile trip.
We arranged a completely private ground journey from San Diego to the Raleigh-Durham area. No shared transport, no rotating drivers, and no unfamiliar pets were added along the way.
Four Days Built Around Two Dogs
We drove Denver and Walker across the country in four days, planning regular breaks and dog-park stops around their comfort rather than treating the trip like a delivery schedule. Their medications and meals stayed on routine, and their family received frequent photos and updates throughout the drive.
The boys slept with me in the hotel bed every night, relaxed together in the car, and occasionally licked my ears while I drove. Walks drew admirers everywhere we stopped. At one gas station, a delighted little girl came over to meet the two spotted travelers.
A Cross-Country Journey We Will Never Forget
