Cashew’s Journey: Durango, Colorado → Los Angeles, California

Cashew may have disliked the car, but this sweet Colorado cat purred her way through TSA and flew beautifully to her new home near Los Angeles.

Cashew needed to travel from Durango, Colorado to her new home just outside Los Angeles. One family member entrusted her to us at the beginning of the journey, and another would be waiting to welcome her at the end.

It was a straightforward domestic trip, but straightforward does not mean impersonal. Every handoff matters when a beloved cat is traveling between the people who love her.

Route: Durango, Colorado → Los Angeles, California
Service: We Travel With Your Pet
Pet: Cashew — cat
Special considerations: Disliked car travel but settled well for the flight

A Little TSA Celebrity

Cashew made an immediate impression at the airport. The TSA team absolutely loved her, and she was relaxed enough during the screening process to offer a few purrs.

Although the drive was not her favorite part of the day, the airplane was a different story. Cashew remained calm and well behaved in the cabin, traveling with us from pickup through arrival without a handoff to an unfamiliar handler.

Safely Home

After landing in Los Angeles, we completed the final drive and delivered Cashew directly to her waiting family. She handled the journey beautifully from beginning to end.

Some pet journeys are defined by complex paperwork or unexpected disruptions. Others are defined by careful execution: a safe pickup, calm airport handling, a smooth flight, and a happy reunion. Cashew’s was exactly that—and we were delighted to be part of it.

Cashew’s family later shared their appreciation in a review from Veena Kaur.
