Oski & Misha’s Journey: Ann Arbor, Michigan → Las Vegas, Nevada

A face-licking chihuahua and a wonderfully composed cat flew together from Michigan to their family’s new home in Las Vegas.

Oski the chihuahua and Misha the cat were moving from just outside Ann Arbor to Las Vegas. Their family was already divided between two homes: Dad remained in Michigan preparing the old house, while Mom was getting the new home ready in Nevada.

We picked up both pets in Michigan, flew them directly to Las Vegas, and completed the journey to their front door.

Pets: Oski — chihuahua; Misha — cat
Special considerations: Two species traveling together during a family move

Two Very Good Travelers

Oski and Misha each brought their own personality to the trip. Misha was composed and easygoing. Oski, meanwhile, discovered that waiting in the Detroit airport lounge was an excellent opportunity to poke his head out of his carrier and cover us with enthusiastic kisses.

Both pets behaved beautifully on the direct flight. Traveling together meant they experienced one coordinated pickup, one flight, and one final drive—without being separated into different transportation plans or passed between handlers.

From One Home to the Next

After landing, we collected everything, got into the car, and drove Oski and Misha home to their family’s new place in Las Vegas. Their mom was waiting, grateful and relieved to have both of them safely beside her again.

It was an easy, joyful trip and a lovely example of how personal accompaniment can simplify a move when a family is already managing life in two places.
