Rose and Winger’s parents contacted us while awaiting visa approval for their family’s move from Michigan to Spain. The dogs would be traveling in the aircraft hold, but their family wanted experienced support beside them throughout the trip.
We helped prepare their travel crates, arranged the excess-baggage reservations, and made sure both dogs were ready for the international journey.
From Detroit to Frankfurt
On travel morning, we picked up Rose and Winger at a hotel near Detroit Metropolitan Airport, prepared them for check-in, and accompanied the family through the airport process.
We intentionally routed the journey through Frankfurt so the dogs could spend their connection at Lufthansa’s dedicated animal facility. That gave them a structured rest between the transatlantic flight and the final segment to Valencia.
Home in Valencia
Both dogs looked wonderful when they emerged from the oversized-baggage area in Spain. We guided the family through customs, met our arranged transportation, and accompanied Rose and Winger all the way to the front door of their new home in Valencia’s historic old town.
They were thrilled to see their parents, and their parents were equally relieved to see two bright, happy dogs ready to begin their life in Spain. The family later shared their appreciation in a review from Amber Roach.
